Steven “Steve” Bilicek is a highly experienced farm and ranch real estate professional with more than 35 years of success connecting buyers and sellers with premier land properties across Texas and beyond. Raised on his family’s farm and ranch along the Upper Gulf Coast of Texas, Steve developed a deep-rooted understanding of agriculture, land stewardship, and rural property operations from an early age. This firsthand experience, combined with his background as a farmer, rancher, landowner, and licensed real estate appraiser, provides him with a level of practical knowledge and insight that sets him apart in the industry.
Steve earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics in 1987 and a Master’s Degree in Land Economics and Real Estate in 1988, both from Texas A&M University. He began his professional career as a real estate appraiser and has been a licensed real estate agent since 1987. His appraisal expertise, paired with his hands-on agricultural background, uniquely qualifies him to evaluate and market farm, ranch, and recreational properties with precision and confidence.
In 1992, Steve founded his own real estate brokerage, focusing exclusively on land, farm, ranch, and hunting properties. While his primary market is Texas, he has also successfully assisted clients with ranch transactions throughout the Mountain West. His commitment to excellence and leadership in the field is reflected in his designation as an Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) and his service as the 2020 President of the Texas Chapter of the Realtors Land Institute.
Outside of his professional work, Steve maintains a lifelong connection to the land through his passion for the outdoors. From his early days hunting and fishing along the Texas Gulf Coast and exploring the Colorado River, to his present-day pursuits, he values time spent in nature. Whether he is in the field pursuing whitetail deer, calling in waterfowl, casting a line, or traveling west in search of a monster bull elk, these experiences continue to shape his appreciation for the properties he represents and the clients he serves.
Steve resides in Southeast Texas with his wife, Rebecca, and remains dedicated to serving clients across all aspects of the farm and ranch real estate market with integrity, expertise, and a genuine appreciation for the land.
